'Shape of the City' July 2013
Oil on Canvas
These pieces were created during my foundation year at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury and displayed as part of the end of year foundation diploma exhibition. They were created in response to my emotional turmoil at the prospect of moving to London, I wanted them to emulate the contrasting chaotic, manic, vibrant and glorious nature of the city, through colours and structures collected from drawings, photos and quick sketchbook paintings.
